(3rd KL Day Classics, FIDE-Rated)

The Kuala Lumpur Chess Association (KLCA) invites all eligible players to participate in the 10th KL Classics 2400 (6th FT Day Classics) organized by the KLCA, to be held at KL Chess Academy from 30 January to 1 February 2027.

No. of Rounds:  7 Rounds, 60 mins + 30 secs

Venue: 
KL Chess Academy, 20-1  Jalan 27/70A, Desa Sri Hartamas, 50480 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

ELIGIBILITY
All players below the FIDE rating of 2400 can enter and register in the above tournament.

THE TOURNAMENT

1. The 10th Kuala Lumpur Classics 2400 is a FIDE rated tournament to be held over 7 rounds

2. Accordingly, the FIDE Laws of Chess together with FIDE Tournament Rules and Regulations will apply.

3. The time control will be 60 minutes with 30 second time increment each to the finish.

RM170 - Unrated

RM180 - Rated International Player

RM200 - Unrated International Player

Foreign players in local International Schools or IPTA/IPTS are entitled to the above fees.

RM20 discount for those who have played in WPKL Classics 1-5 (2025) or WPKL Classics 6-8 (2026), Seniors & OKU and Early Bird

Early Bird entry is before or on 3 January 2027.

International Players – Kindly furnish details of Players and Accompanying Person for Immigration border control purposes 14 days before departure.
