INTRODUCTION
SJKC Kuen Cheng 1 would like to invite interested players to participate in its 9TH KUEN CHENG 1 CHESS CHAMPIONSHIP 2024 which will be held on-the-board on 23 June 2024, 10am-6pm.
This tournament is open to primary school going children, is National-rated and recognised by Kementerian Pendidikan Malaysia
for PAJSK curriculum points.

There are two (2) categories in this tournament.
i) Under-10
ii) Under-12
2. SCHEDULE
Date: Sunday, 23 June 2024
Time: 10am – 6pm (All categories)
3. FORMAT
Players are required to complete all 7 rounds.
Winners are chosen based on highest accumulative points of all the rounds.
Venue: Dewan SJKC Kuen Cheng 1, Jalan Belfield, Kuala Lumpur
Time Control: 25 minutes (Rapid)

Pairing: Swiss System
Score: Win – 1 point, Draw – ½ point, Loss – 0 point

Commitment Fee – RM10 (Refundable upon check-in on tournament day)
